Some flights into Glasgow Airport are today being diverted to Prestwick as freezing fog closes in.
A number of Flybe and British Airways flights landed in Ayrshire because of poor visibility at Glasgow.
Travellers faced delays and were advised to check airline information before setting off.
A Glasgow Airport spokeswoman said: "Some flights are being diverted due to freezing fog but we are keeping a close eye on the situation.
"Passengers are advised to check with your airline for up-to-date information before setting off."
