POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with two robberies.
Officers are investigating incidents at two local shops in the Renfrewshire area.
The first incident happened at around 8.35pm on February 28 at the Co-operative at High Bar Holm in Kilbarchan.
A man threatened members of staff with a weapon and fled with a three-figure sum of money.
The second robbery took place at around 8.35pm on March 14 at 101 Offsales, Kilbarchan Road in Johnstone.
A male threatened the shop assistant - a 29 year old man - with a weapon before demanding money from him.
He then ran out of the shop with a three figure sum of cash leaving the staff uninjured but shaken.
The man is understood to have fled in a small silver coloured vehicle driving towards the Kilbarchan direction.
Police Scotland has released images of a man that they wish to speak to in connection with their investigation.
He is described as being around 5ft 6inches - 5ft 9inches in height, of medium build with a distinctive nose and chin.
He was wearing a dark hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on the non-emergency number - 101.
Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
