A WOMAN had to be cut free after a two-car crash in South Lanarkshire.
The female driver was involved in a collision with another car in Netherburn Road in Larkhall on Wednesday morning.
She was taken to hospital following the crash at 8.55am.
Watch Manager Gilbert Rowan, said: "We arrived to find the ambulance service attending to the casualty who was still inside her vehicle as well as a second casualty who had exited the other car involved.
"Our crews were working closely with the paramedics and their advice regarding possible injuries meant we decided to extricate the casualty using hydraulic cutting equipment.
"This created the space needed for us to safely move her from the vehicle and to the ambulance."
