CLASSICAL opera met Glasgow's most famous classical building to launch
Scottish soprano Christina Dunwoodie channelled Puccini's Tosca ahead of her new opera company's latest performance.
Primavoce has announced Love Hurts, to be performed on Saturday, July 4, at the New Atheneum theatre in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Love Hurts contains the best of key opera divas and divos such as Tosca, Rigoletto, Carmen and Butterfly sung by Christina, tenor Ralph Strehle and baritone Julian Tovey with others.
The dying and heartbroken Mimi and Violetta, the angry and betrayed Amneris and Azucena, the heroic Radames and Cavardossi and the wicked Scarpia are just some of the characters bringing the very best of opera highs and lows.
