A WOMAN was taken to hospital after she fell from the climbing attraction at the Braehead Centre in Renfrew.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, with the climber falling onto a safety platform.
Police were called and the woman taken to the South Glasgow University Hospital. Police later said her injuries gave “no cause for concern”.
The Climb Zone is operated by a private company within the Braehead Soar, previously known as Xscape.
General manager at intu Braehead Gary Turnbull said: “There was an incident on Tuesday evening involving a lady who had fallen from the climbing wall operated by Climbzone
“Staff on site dealt with the incident until an ambulance arrived. The lady was able to walk to the ambulance, which took her to hospital for a medical check-up.
“We wish the lady a speedy recovery.”
