A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital after being knocked down by a tram in Edinburgh.
The 32-year-old was hit at Lochside Avenue near Edinburgh Park at about 2pm yesterday.
He was conscious and was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
Police Scotland said the man was able to speak to paramedics and had minor injuries.
Tram services were suspended between Edinburgh Park Station and Edinburgh Airport.
A spokesman for Edinburgh Trams said: "We can confirm that there has been a collision between a tram and a pedestrian at Lochside Avenue.
"We suspended services between Edinburgh Park Station and the airport."
