SCOTRAIL has apologised after trains were delayed due to signalling problems this morning.
Services affected included those between Whifflet and Milngavie, Milngavie and Motherwell, Milngavie and Cumbernauld, and Cumbernauld and Dalmuir.
The problems were reported at 9.45am and resolved 20 minutes later.
Services began to return to normal at 10.05am.
A spokeswoman for ScotRail Alliance said the problem was "quickly identified and repaired."
She added: "We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused.”
