BOMB disposal experts and police are searching a house in Glasgow's East End.
Officers were called out shortly after 12pm today to search a flat in Arcadia Street, off London Road.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said the search was in relation to an on-going inquiry.
She declined to comment further on the nature of the search, saying it would inappropriate.
She confirmed the explosive ordnance disposal team was at the scene.
Police vans are at the scene and the road has been partially closed.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing two officers standing outside the door to flats, with police tape and cones sealing off a section of the street.
