A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man attacked on Saturday died in hospital.
Jason Bryden, who is known as Jason Dunlop, died in hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The 38-year-old was attacked at about 11.10pm after two men entered a house in Hareshaw Gardens, Kilmarnock.
The victim was taken to Crosshouse Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police said his death was being treated as murder.
