Crash sparks delays for commuters
DRIVERS came to a standstill early today after rush hour crash closed a busy road.
Motorists were caught in lengthy queues after the one-vehicle accident on the A8 at Port Glasgow.
Police closed the eastbound carriageway from the Woodhall Roundabout as the vehicle was recovered.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said there were no reports of any injuries.
Workers were also at the scene to clear a fuel spill from the road.
