The World Pipe Band Championships are set to take over Glasgow Green once again next month.
The city has been associated with the event for more than 60 years, and thousands are expected to gather to watch the biggest and most hotly contested event in the piping calendar unfold on August 14 and 15.
Last year's winners on the Green were The Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band, who secured a tenth Worlds title with a rousing performance.
While they will be aiming to continue their winning streak, an unprecendented number of competitors from all over the world are looking to take the crown, with 22 bands challenging at Grade 1 level.
2015's line-up includes an impressive overseas showing, with bands from 13 nations joining the contest, among them Canada, Australia, and debutants Malaysia.
