A Scottish takeaway is giving away a free pair of knickers with orders this weekend – in honour of Sir Tom Jones.

Falkirk based Habaneros Mexican Street Food will offer customers a free pair of knickers with every burrito or quesadilla ordered, as reported in the Scotsman.

The pants come in all shapes and sizes, and the owner of the takeaway says it is up to customers what they do with them.

The legendary singer will play Falkirk Stadium on Saturday night and his ‘Sex Bomb’ status means he is no stranger to receiving pants from fans while on stage.

Owner Malcolm Binnie, who opened the takeaway diner last weekend at the corner of the Kirk Wynd on Manor Street, said customers must show their ticket to the concert when ordering.

He told The Scotsman: “We thought it would be a good idea to mark Sir Tom Jones coming to the town.

“We have spent quite a lot of money on this.

“We have knickers in all sizes and styles - we’ve got thongs, Bridget Jones Pants, everything really.

“We offer a range of Mexican Street food but everyone buying a burrito or a Quesadilla that is going to the concert will get a free pair of knickers.”

Over 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the Rock the Stadium concert.

For fans still wanting to go to the show, there are a handful left for the main stand, and the organisers have released more tickets for the north and south stands.
