A 19-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in the leg after he was attacked by two men as he walked in Castlemilk.
Police said he was attacked in a park at Tormusk Drive and treated at Queen Elizabeth Univeristy hospital for a stab wound to his leg.
They are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place at 9.30pm on Friday.
The men, who were last seen heading to Machrie Road, were both white and around 5 ft 8ins tall.
One was of heavy build and wearing a blue jumper and black trousers. The other was slightly shorter, of medium build and wearing dark clothing.
Detective Constable John Tweedle said: "This would appear to be a totally unprovoked attack on a young man near to the pond area of the park.
"We are trying to establish a motive for the attack and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the culprits hanging around the park either prior to the assault taking place or running off afterwards.
"Anyone who has any information should contact Police Scotland on 101."
