A MAJOR commuter route was blocked today after a lorry overturned.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene of the accident on the A8 Greenock Road, in Port Glasgow.
It's believed the vehicle overturned near the Anderson Street roundabout.
Traffic Scotland warned motorists to avoid the area.
Part of the carriageway was closed to allow the wreckage to be cleared.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured during the incident.
