POLICE have renewed an appeal for information about missing man John Murphy, three months after he disappeared from his Dennistoun home.
Mr Murphy has not been seen since May 12.
His family have mounted a huge campaign for information, coupled with searches.
The father of five has never gone missing before and his family are "extremely distressed," police said.
Sergeant Martin Morris from London Road Police Station said: “So far all attempts to trace John have proved unsuccessful and his family are becoming increasingly worried about his welfare.
“For John to just disappear like this is completely out of character and we are asking him to get in touch with someone as soon as possible to let them know he is safe.
“I would also continue to appeal to members of the public to keep an eye out and if you think you see John please contact police immediately.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.”
