DETECTIVES today released images of three men they want to speak to following an attack in a Glasgow nightclub.

Officers say they hope they can assist them with their inquiries into the serious assault, which happened in the O2 ABC.

Authorities today sent out the photographs from CCTV footage inside the Sauchiehall Street venue.

Police said a 19-year-old man was attacked at around 2.20am on May 8.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Detectives directly appealed for the men in the footage to contact them as it is believed they may have witnessed the incident or have information that can help with the investigation.

The men are described as being of Asian appearance and in their late 20s or early 30s.

Two of the men were wearing casual shirts and trousers.

The third man was wearing denim jeans and a dark coloured top.

Police said the men are understood to be in the company of a fourth male, who was wearing denim jeans and a blue and yellow t-shirt.

Detective Constable Tony Brady, from Greater Glasgow CID, who is dealing with the inquiry.

He said: "This type of activity at a city centre event cannot be tolerated and we seek the assistance of the public in tracking down those responsible."
