COMEDY star Eddie Izzard took to the stage for a surprise performance at a Glasgow pub.
The 53-year-old went along to the well-known Nice 'N' Sleazy Acoustic Open Mic Night last night where he performed a special set - a song from World War II, Lili Marlene by Marlena Dietchrich, in German.
Audience members praised the Valkyrie star's performance, which also included some stand-up comedy and story telling from his past experiences.
Gerry Lyons, host of the event. said: "I wasn't sure what to expect as I've only seen him from wee bits of television and movies so I wasn't sure if he was musical but he was great."
Mr Izzard was in the pub from around 9pm to 11pm alongside some of his cast mates from Whiskey Galore, who also performed.
