GLASGOW fitness fans and comedy lovers alike rejoice as two brand new Evening Times bloggers are on hand to keep you up to date.

Whether you’re looking for some slimming tips after one too many dinners abroad or are just in need of a laugh to get you through the working week, our newest additions are sure to come to your rescue.

Jordan McCulloch, of Get Fit with Jordan, will share weekly tips with our readers on how to get themselves in shape.

The 28-year-old fitness extraordinaire has been working in the industry for ten years and is currently a national presenter and master trainer for one of the world’s largest fitness companies, Les Mills.

Jordan struggled with his own weight before becoming an instructor, before his parents took him along to join a gym with then.

However, the fitness guru didn’t catch the exercise bug or begin to see results until taking a group class, similar to those he teaches at the new Village Urban Resorts Glasgow at the Pacific Quay.

This week Jordan, who teaches fitness classes at the new Village Urban Resorts Glasgow at the Pacific Quay, hit the ground running with his first blog, detailing the latest fitness craze HIIT – high intensity interval training – which consists of 20 to 30 minutes of short, sharp bursts of work at a high intensity level.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old behind Have a Laugh with Lewis McKenzie sat down with Still Game star Sanjeev Kohil to find out about his plans to take on the world of stand up comedy.

The star, who played fan favourite shopkeeper Navid in the popular series, also told our newest blogger about his proudest moments throughout his decades long career, including gaining the Hogmany spot with Still Game and helping fans through difficult times in their lives.

And this is just the latest addition to our list of bloggers.

Last month, Paul Thomas Bell promised to help singles everywhere with their dating lives in his new blog, The Boys and The Bees.

The 28-year-old Bishopbriggs native, who began writing at 14-years-old after entering The Evening Times Young Sports Journalist of the Year Awards, where he was commended in the final, will tell of the highs and lows of his dating experience with the hope that he can help others along the way.

Paul hopes readers will get in touch with their dating dilemmas and answer age old questions, including debunking myths surrounding men and what drives people to cheat.
