Cannabis worth £500,000 has been seized in a police raid.
Officers searched a property in Hamilton Road, Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, today and made the discovery.
A cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £500,000 was recovered. No-one has been arrested over the find but inquiries are continuing.
Sergeant Brian Scanlan said: "This recovery clearly shows just how vital intelligence is to disrupting drug activity.
"We would urge any other people with information about drug offences in their community to contact police on 101.
"Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls will be kept anonymous."
