Motorists faced minor delays after the engine of a car caught fire on the Clydeside Expressway.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue crew was called to the scene, near to the Finnieston junction, shortly after 5.30pm.
One vehicle was on fire and fire fighters worked quickly to extinguish the blaze.
Traffic was flowing freely within minutes of the incident being resolved.
There were no injuries and the Scottish Ambulance Service did not attend the incident.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman confirmed a crew had been at the scene but said the incident was very quickly closed.
