A man has died after being hit by a bus in Edinburgh.
The 65-year-old was struck on Frederick Street on Wednesday morning.
He was being treated at the Western General Hospital where he died two days later.
Sergeant Ross Drummond said: "Our sincere condolences go to family and friends, who have requested that their privacy be respected at this very difficult time.
"Our investigation continues into the full circumstances surrounding the collision and I'd like to thank the witnesses who have so far come forward and assisted with our enquiries.
"Anyone with further information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101."
