DETECTIVES investigating a street attack have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to.
Police believe the pair, who are between 40 and 50-years-old, may hold vital information about an attack in Glasgow city centre.
A 50-year-old was targeted during a late night attack in Jamaica Street.
He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.
Officers investigating the incident said they are "keen to speak to the men shown in the images".
The first man is described as white, aged between 40 and 50-years-old, of slim build, and bald.
He was wearing a blue shirt, a light coloured blazer and dark trousers.
The second male is described as white, aged 40 and 50-years-old, of heavy build, with short dark hair.
He was wearing a dark overcoat over a dark shirt, dark trousers and brown shoes.
The incident happened at around 10.40pm on Saturday February 7.
Detective Constable Gordon Walker, Greater Glasgow CID, said: "An unprovoked assault like this on a busy Saturday night in the city centre cannot be tolerated.
"We seek the assistance of the public in tracking down those responsible.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow Police on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously."
