POLICE want to trace four good samaritans who helped a woman after she attacked
Police Scotland Officers are continuing enquiries and appealing for witnesses after a 31 year-old man was seriously assaulted in North Hanover Street in Glasgow city centre on Sunday 9 August 2015.
Around 0100 hours on Sunday 9 August 2015, the 31 year-old man was assaulted on North Hanover Street near to the taxi rank.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated for a facial injury then later released.
Police were called a short time after the incident occurred and officers have carried out enquiries and studied CCTV footage in connection with this crime.
Detective Constable Stephen Palmer, said : "I would encourage anyone who witnessed this attack to come forward to police.
"In particular, I would like to speak to four people who went to the injured man’s assistance when he was lying injured on North Hanover Street. "The injured man then walked off and was found by police in Cathedral Street.
"Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101."
