DISCOUNT fitness chain PureGym is creating 40 jobs in Glasgow.
The chain is opening two new sites in the city at Charing Cross and Shawlands.
The new gyms, which open autumn 2015 along with a site in Motherwell, will add to the two PureGym sites already open in Glasgow, taking the total number of Scottish PureGym sites to 14.
The gyms will give members access to a spacious gym 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They will be filled with more than 220 pieces of the latest gym equipment and they will host more than 50 free classes per week
Property Director for PureGym Angela Crawshaw, said: “The PureGym sites will provide local residents with a fully equipped gym that offers not only exceptional value for money at an affordable price, but membership without a contract that ties you in for a long period of time.
“Our model is proving to be particularly popular in Scotland, with our new sites taking the total in Scotland to 14.
"We are also continually looking for new opportunities to bring affordable fitness to Scotland and expect more PureGym sites to follow soon."
