Man detained after 'attack'
A MAN has been detained in connection with an alleged serious assault in Glasgow.
The 53-year-old was allegedly attacked in Clyde Place at around 7pm on Tuesday.
Police today said a 42-year-old man had been detained in police custody.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 42-year-old man has been detained in connection with an alleged serious assault on Tuesday September 1."
