An appeal has been made to Rangers fans to help support local food banks by bringing non-perishable food items to the match on Saturday against Raith Rovers at Ibrox.
The Rangers Charity Foundation is urging fans to get involved in the collection because they say local food banks have reached crisis point after stocks ran extremely low at Hillington Park Parish Church this week, which has been feeding up to 100 people a week from the Govan, Craigton, Pollok and Ibrox area.
The Foundation has organised a food collection point near to the Rangers Megastore in the lead up to kick-off on Saturday where volunteers will collect donations from fans.
The Food Banks urgently require all kinds of non-perishable food items and a full list of suggestions can be found here
