Man arrested after woman's death in Glasgow home
A man has been arrested following the death of a woman in her Glasgow home.
Amelet Francis, 49, was found seriously injured after the emergency services were called out to a flat in Kerrycroy Street, Toryglen, on Friday afternoon.
Ambulance staff attended, along with officers from Police Scotland, and Ms Francis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland confirmed that a a 53 year-old man had been arrested and was detained in police custody. A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
