POLICE are investigating after nine dogs were stolen from kennels in West Lothian.
Seven Shi Tzu puppies and two full-grown lurchers were stolen from the property in Glendevon Park, Winchburgh, between 7.30am and 6pm yesterday.
The Shi Tzu puppies are tan and white in colour and are worth around £650 each. The lurchers have pale gold rough coats and are working dogs.
Officers are urging anyone who can assist them with their inquiries to get in touch.
Police Constable Rachel Royan said: "At eight weeks old the puppies are too young to have left their mother, who was not taken, and the owners are extremely concerned for their welfare.
"We would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in or around Glendevon Park yesterday to please get in touch as we are keen to reunite them with their owners."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
