AMSTERDAM police arrested no Scottish football fans last night attending Celtic's clash against Ajax.
According to Dutch officers, 27 people were arrested before and after the match in Amsterdam, including four English men and two Irish men.
They were unable to say whether four English men and two Irish men arrested were Celtic supporters, but confirmed all other arrests were of Dutch citizens,
A major security operation was reportedly underway in the Dutch capital last night as police kept the Ajax and Celtic fans separated on their way to the stadium
Two years ago violent scenes erupted in Dam Square when Ajax fans set upon travelling supporters.
Officers on horseback, a helicopter and riot vans were drafted in for last night's game to help chaperone fans to the grounds.
