DIRECT flights will operate next summer between Glasgow and the historic city of Genoa in Italy.

Barrhead Travel is offering direct flights between the two cities for 19 weeks between the end of May and beginning of October.

They will operate on Sundays with a total of 1862 seats available from Glasgow.

he firm’s existing charter flight schedule includes direct flights to Malaga, Majorca, Barcelona and Venice.

Company bosses predict the new route, which uses British Airways aircraft with extra leg room, a generous baggage allowance and convenient flight times, will be a big hit with Scottish travellers.
