A baby boy and a woman have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision.
The crash happened on the A89, Dechmont Roundabout to Station Road, in Livingston, West Lothian.
A grey Citroen Berlingo travelling eastbound was in collision with a white Ford Transit van travelling west at around 9.45am.
The 49-year-old woman driving the Citroen was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries while the baby boy, who was a relative and a passenger in the Citroen, was taken to the city's Royal Hospital for Sick Children as a precaution.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
Police are appealing for information about the crash.
Sergeant Vinnie Fisher said: "We're appealing for any witnesses who have not yet come forward to contact us.
"We are especially eager to speak to the driver of a white minibus that had red writing on the sides, and was travelling behind the Ford Transit van at the time of the collision."
Traffic was diverted through Dechmont village to allow emergency services to carry out investigations at the scene.
