Craft beer company BrewDog has raised more than £10 million in five months in its latest crowdfunding drive.
The brewery, which has set a target of £25 million in its latest Equity For Punks expansion scheme, described the milestone as a "new world record" for equity crowdfunding.
BrewDog said 35,000 people had now invested in the business, which plans to expand its facilities, open more bars and develop further operations in the US.
In 2013, it raised £4.25 million in six months and the current fundraising drive is due to remain open until April 2016.
More than 525,000 shares in the brewery have been made available for a minimum investment of £95 for two shares.
Co-founders James Watt and Martin Dickie set up BrewDog when they were 24 in response to the ''stuffy ales'' which dominated the UK drinks market.
Seven years on, the company now employs more than 350 people and has bars in Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Gothenburg.
