POLICE were called after a 'grenade' was found in a busy Glasgow park.
At around 4pm on Saturday, officers received a call from a member of the public about "an item" in Kelvingrove Park.
Police said investigations were underway into the discovery, which a spokeswoman said is thought to be a grenade.
It was found behind Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
A police cordon is in place while the item is examined.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police received a call about an item found in Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow.
"Officers attended and inquiries are underway."
