Police investigating the death of a man found injured in a street have made an arrest.
Officers were called to a disturbance in Glenhove Road, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, at around midnight of Thursday into Friday, where they found 25-year-old Anthony Laurie with serious injuries.
Mr Laurie, of the town's Kildrum area, was taken to Monklands and District General Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police Scotland said a 25-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the death and is being held in police custody.
He is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday.
