GLASGOW Airport is among a host of Scottish firms nominated for a top arts and business award.

Krispy Kreme, Macsween of Edinburgh and A1 Toys join the city airport on the shortlist for the prestigious Arts and Business Scotland Awards 2015.

The awards aim to "showcase a wide and diverse range of businesses", including small independents and large multi-national companies.

David Watt, Chief Executive of Arts and Business Scotland, said: "We’re delighted to see such a diverse range of businesses collaborating creatively with the cultural sector to produce an exciting shortlist showcasing the very best of cross-sector partnership working.

"It’s fantastically encouraging to see such commitment from across so many sectors of the business community to support cultural activity and cultural engagement throughout the whole of Scotland."

Glasgow School of Art is also among the shortlist for the Digital Innovation award.
