A man arrested in Northern Ireland has appeared in court in Scotland charged with the murder of a man in Glasgow more than 20 years ago.
Derek Sheerin, 24, was found dead in the east end of Glasgow in September 1994.
Phillip Morrison was arrested by the Police Service of Northern Ireland yesterday in Londonderry and taken to Glasgow for questioning.
The 39-year-old from Londonderry appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court today charged with murder.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody ahead of a further court appearance later this month.
