Mystery after young woman disappears MORE than 100 miles away from her home
CONCERN is growing for a young woman who was last seen more than 100 miles from her home.
Katie Grout, 23, from Berwick left her home at 7am on Thursday.
She was last seen near Harthill Service Station on the M8 and is believed to be travelling to Glasgow.
Katie is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of very slim build, with shoulder length brown hair and a small scar under her chin.
She was wearing black and white checked trousers, black long sleeved top and grey boots.
Katie is believed to be driving her silver Vauxhall Corsa, with the car registration DY61 HJJ.
Police said they are "concerned" for her welfare.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101.
