POLICE are hunting a thug who nicked thousands of pounds during a raid on a pro-independence pub in Glasgow.
The brazen raid took place at Yesbar in the city centre at around 5.30am on Monday.
Pub staff said takings from the weekend were stolen from the bar, which was renamed Yesbar during the independence referendum.
Police have launched a probe into the raid on the pub, in Drury Street.
The suspect is described as male and he was wearing a jacket, jeans and a jumper with his hood up.
The bar tweeted an image from their own CCTV captured that night.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At around 5.30am on Monday October 12, police received a report of a housebreaking.
"Officers were called to a premises in Drury Street, Glasgow.
"Inquiries are continuing."
