POLICE have issued a warning after a pet snake went missing in Broughty Ferry.
The snake, which is 9ft long and described as being as "thick as an arm" is believed to have left its home in Portree Avenue sometime between 8am and 6pm yesterday.
Police stressed the snake is "very docile" and not thought to be any danger to the public.
Officers and the SSPCA are working to trace the animal.
