SNOOKER loopy Andy Murray sent out a plea to his fans to find a table to play on in Paris.

The tennis ace was scouring the French city for a snooker hall to take on his fellow Brits Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins but drew a blank.

He took to Twitter to appeal for help in finding a venue and was soon bombarded with suggestions from his followers.

Murray tweeted: "Anyone know any good snooker halls/tables in Paris? Looking to smoke @colin_fleming and @RoscoHutchins but can't find anywhere."

After finding a suitable venue, Murray posted a photo and told how he and retired doubles player Hutchins had beaten his brother Jamie and Fleming comfortably on the green baize.

He said: "Very nice victory with @roscohutchins22 vs my Big Bro and Colin Fleming... Wasn't very challenging but a wins a win and you can only be at what's in front of you."

Earlier this year Murray, 28, revealed he had taken up snooker as it allowed him to bond with his friends.

The world number two, who is preparing to compete at the Paris Masters event this week, told how he even played at the tables at Wimbledon's All England Club.

He said: "We get pumped to play.

"None of us are any good but it is a fun way to spend time with friends. Although you are playing a game, it is a fun way to chat.

"If you go and play football, you are not exactly chatting the whole way through the game. Also, it is not physically demanding either. I enjoy doing it, although I don't think it really helps with my tennis.

"My biggest break would be somewhere in the 20s. It really isn't good!"
