It's not everyday you'll stop at a red light and be invited to track stand, but it's possibly even rarer that the person challenging you is none other than the most successful Olympic cyclist of all time, Sir Chris Hoy.
Ahead of the third round of the Revolution Series in London on Saturday, Sir Chris took his bike and a secret camera crew to Brick Lane in the east end of the city, where he then dared unsuspecting commuters to a Longest Lap type race.
The Revolution series is an international elite track cycling league which has featured stars such as Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Victoria Pendleton in addition to Sir Chris.
A track stand is an elite skill which requires the cyclist to stand and maintain their balance whilst the bicycle remains stationary.
The Revolution series is also due to come to Glasgow towards the end of this month on November 28, more information on the event as well as tickets can be found online at http://www.cyclingrevolution.com/index.html.
