Stars of Glasgow panto Puss in Boots visited an east end vet for a very special casting call.
Puss in Boots, at Platform, stars John Winchester, who plays Boris the vet, and Meghan Tyler, who plays the title role.
The actors visited Sandyhills Vets to talk to the staff and meet Fergus the cat.
Director Matt Addicott added: “Puss in Boots will be a hilarious, festive take on an classic tale. We wanted to set the show in Easterhouse and the vets seemed a likely venue for Puss to turn up at. Having Puss turn up and cause havoc in the vets provides loads of opportunities for comedy which will become apparent when you see the show.
"We are very grateful to Sandyhills for providing us with props, advice and the opportunity to come down here today to prepare."
Clinic vet Dave White said: “Sandyhills has a long history and commitment to supporting the community and in the past we have worked with schools and local groups to tell them more about the work we do. However providing props and the setting for a professional Christmas show is a first and we are delighted to help.”
Puss in Boots runs from December 8 -23 at Platform, The Bridge, 1000 Westerhouse Rd, Glasgow G34 9JW. Tickets are priced from £5 - £12
