THE halls are decked at Glasgow's sick kids hospital.
Some Christmas magic was sprinkled throughout the wards at Yorkhill Hospital as trees were trimmed and hallways hung with tinsel.
Volunteers Laura Reid and Stephen Hoolahan helped nurse turned a donation of 50 trees from Tesco Silverburn into festive displays around the hospital.
They were responsible for draping 250 metres of tinsel, tying up 1560 metres of ceiling decorations and hanging 3500 baubles.
Young patients Heather Hunter, nine, from Motherwell, and Aimee Smith, 10, from Bearsden, both from the Cardio Ward, also helped out.
Kirsten Sinclair, Director of Fundraising at Yorkhill Children’s Charity, said: “Christmas is such a special time of year for children, and we don’t want our young patients to miss out on the fun just because they’re in hospital.
"We’ve put on a programme of special events for the children in the run-up to Christmas, and want this year to be extra special as it’s our first since moving to the new hospital from Yorkhill.
"We’re so grateful to Tesco for their generous donation of 50 Christmas trees, and to all of our volunteers for helping to make Christmas magical for Scotland’s sick children."
