A man has claimed he was attacked last night in Glasgow's Gallowagate in a shocking image which is circulating social media.

Neil Odonnell, who is believed to be the owner of the Hoops Bar, claims his head was stamped on during the alleged attack last night.

It was claimed on social media that The Hoops Bar in The Gallowgate was attacked last night. It happened as Celtic and Ajax fans were making their way to Parkhead for a Europa League match.

Police have since confirmed that seven men were injured in a street brawl which broke out in the area. Four men were taken to hospital. It is understood Ajax fans tried to challenge customers in some of the pubs yesterday at around 7pm. The match kicked off just after 8pm. Police have not confirmed which pubs were targeted.
