Police are searching for a woman missing from her home in Knightswood since Monday.
Grace Carrigan, 71, has dementia and Alzheimer's, and was last seen by her husband in their home in the Lochlibo Avenue area at around 1030pm last night, however, when he woke at 0230am this morning she was not there.
Grace is described as white, 5ft 3, of thin build and has grey hair.
It is believed she is wearing a purple raincoat with a hood, blue denims and black boots.
Inspector Kenny Darroch, Drumchapel Police Office, said: "It is imperative we find Grace as soon as possible. It is very cold outside and the fact that Grace has been away now for nearly six hours gives us and her family great concern.
"Recently she has been upset and has been talking about her childhood home in Govan, although she left there when she was 11 years old.
"I would ask people, especially bus or taxi drivers, as well as those who work though the night, to keep a look out for her.
"Officers are in the area carrying out a search for her and are checking CCTV in an effort to trace her.
"Although missing once before, she was found by a neighbour in the street and it was shortly after.
"Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact Drumchapel Police Office via 101."
