Man dies after being hit by car in Glasgow
A PEDESTRIAN has died after he was struck by a car in the Robroyston area.
The 58-year-old man was in the roadway on Hillhead Road, near Standburn Road, when he was hit by a Ford Fiesta at 7.45pm on Saturday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Nicola Taylor said: “At this time his movements prior to being struck by the car are unclear and enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances.
“We believe he had been walking through the area beforehand and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen him to contact police.
“Anyone with information can get in touch with officers on 101."
