Firefighters worked through the night to tackle a blaze at a farm building in South Lanarkshire.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crews from Biggar and Lanark were sent to the incident in Quothquan following a 999 call at 10.45pm and another crew were sent a short time later to assist.
Watch Manager Craig Langford, the incident commander, said: “The fire involved a large number of hay bales as well as farm machinery.
“Our crews attacked it using four jets and they successfully contained it to within one section of the building.
“The farmer was able to evacuate around 35 livestock to safety before assisting us in the removal of equipment and around 150 bales of hay, which allowed firefighters better access.”
Crews worked through the night and a single crew is currently continuing dampening down operations, while specialist officers from the SFRS Fire Investigation Unit are liaising with police and will attend to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
