Four people have been taken to hospital following a two-car crash.
The collision, between a black Vauxhall Astra and a red Vauxhall Corsa, happened on Monday on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverurie Road near Tyrebagger.
The 48-year-old male driver and 41-year-old passenger of the Astra were injured, as were the driver and passenger of the Corsa, both 18.
They were all taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where their injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
Police Scotland are appealing to the public for information about the collision, which happened at around 4.55pm that day.
Constable Tom Stables said: "Inquiries into the circumstances of the incident are at an early stage and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
"In particular we would like to speak to the driver or any occupants of a silver car that would have been exiting the unclassified Newhills road onto the A96 at the time of the incident. They may have information which could help the investigation and I would appeal for them to contact us."
Police can be reached by dialling 101.
