Game of Thrones may have predicted that winter was coming but, unfortunately, one of its famous locations was not ready for Storm Gertrude.
Pictures have emerged on Twitter showing trees uprooted in Northern Ireland's famous Dark Hedges by Storm Gertrude.
The images appear to show two of the Dark Hedges' trees lying on the road.

The Dark Hedges have featured in a number of Game of Thrones episodes and have also provided the backdrop for other television shows and films.
