Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle has paid his own tribute to Sir Terry Wogan who died at the age of 77 - and Twitter users have hit back.
Remember, if I don't comment on a celebrity death, it's because I don't care.

The controversial comic said in an ironic tweet, "Remember, If I don't comment on a celebrity death, it's because I don't care."
But many Twitter users didn't quite get what he was saying - Boyle was commenting because he did care - and hit out:
@frankieboyle nobody will give a toss when you die.

@frankieboyle You have the right to your opinion but do you have to be so brutal? Anything for attention!

The Scot took time to respond to the ones who did get it:
@dsw26 Yeah, that's the joke, well done, take the rest of the day off
— Frankie Boyle (@frankieboyle) January 31, 2016
Many of his followers even praised him for the joke:

It was announced yesterday that the veteran BBC broadcaster died after a short illness.
His family said in a statement: "Sir Terry Wogan died today after a short but brave battle with cancer.
"He passed away surrounded by his family. While we understand he will be missed by many, the family ask that their privacy is respected at this time."
